Welcome to the site. Glad you stopped by. NEWS: I'm making another album! November 2024 finds bassist Rob Norris (The Bongos) and myself in the studio with Jason Sarubbi (New Paltz) to track the first song - Smile Transmitter. It's all abut the magic of being a stilt walker and transmitting the smiles far and wide. I worked as a stilt walker for 27 years! The second song will be recorded with Freddie Katz in NYC. Titled "Size 11" it's about how hard it is to find women's size 11 shoes! The rabbit in the photo above is my darling Boxer. He is over 100 years old in rabbit years and he's still going strong.
"To Be Continued!"
I perform music in nursing homes in NY state. Here are some testimonials from my work in Brooklyn, NYC. I offer strolling programs and concerts. I writes a Substack blog called "The Merriment Experiment" with a focus on helping other performers work in senior facilities. This is truly rewarding work. see https://bibifarber.substack.com
Bibi re-imagined this vintage Halloween gem*. She called in Richard Lloyd (Television), Dennis Diken (Smithereens) and Peter Stuart (bass), who all performed on her first album "Firepop" (produced by Richard Lloyd).
This track is produced by Greg Talenfeld at OK Records. Most photos and the artwork for the single by Kari Auerbach.
Happy Halloween everyone!
The track was recorded in 2016, this is a remix by Greg Talenfeld in 2024. Single available for streaming and download soon!
BIBI & ROB First home made video! June 2024
I love playing music. Started playing bass in teenage years, moved on to guitar and started writing songs. I've played with many of my heroes in the rock world. Now I work full time singing in nursing homes and rehab centers, playing the music I love from the last five decades.
TALKERS Magazine did a feature story on me recently, link below.
